Nature

The resort is located on 3 contiguous islands, two of which are designated for guests and one for staff. Thanks to the preserved natural jungle, a stay at the Conrad takes on an intimate and private character. We can enjoy the spectacular views of the beaches, the greenery of the island, the beautiful architecture of the villas, the arrangement of open spaces. Walks along picturesque sandy paths and alleys are a pleasure.

The resort's location - South Ari Atoll - is a huge asset. The area is naturally home to whale sharks, manta rays, orcas, several species of sea turtles and countless species of ocean and reef fish.

Villas and residences

Each villa has specially designed features and amenities that combine integrated indoor and outdoor living spaces - all in perfect harmony with their surroundings. The Indian Ocean is always visible and can be reached directly by steps or a path from each villa's private sun terrace, allowing guests to feel one with nature. Each of the onshore villas is surrounded by lush natural vegetation, creating an intimate atmosphere of a private home at the end of the world.

Experiencing

Take a culinary journey with twelve world-class restaurants and the Maldives' first underground wine bar.

The resort has amazing restaurants and bars where we will taste delicious dishes coming out of the hands of top chefs. Here we have authentic Chinese cuisine at chef Jeremy Leung's restaurant, or Mandhoo Spa, whose menu is based on the five transformations philosophy and was created by an Australian nutritionist and healthy lifestyle promoter. Gourmets and lovers of unusual experiences from around the world, meanwhile, are attracted to the underwater restaurant Ithaa, where meals and delicious wine can be enjoyed under a glass cloche set on the ocean floor.

The local winery is an interesting feature - a collection of more than 120 labels and impressive vintages. The floor of this unusual room was strewn with special black sand imported from New Zealand to help keep the temperature down.
